Bible Notebooking for February

Notebooking is the coined term for what one may refer to as educational journaling. Essentially, the idea is to create a compilation of what has been learned in any subject and organize it in a notebook. Bible Notebooking helps one pause and really process the Word of God. Throughout the month of February, write the daily Bible verse in your notebook, color code the verse to help you study the Scripture in contexts, and then write how the verse is applicable to your life.

Day 1 – Deuteronomy 6:5

Day 2 – Psalms 119:97

Day 3 – Proverbs 17:17

Day 4 – Ecclesiastes 3:8

Day 5 – Matthew 5:43-44

Day 6 – Matthew 22:37-39

Day 7 – Luke 6:27

Day 8 – John 3:16

Day 9 – John 13:35

Day 10 – John 15:12-13

Day 11 – Romans 5:8

Day 12 – Romans 12:9-10

Day 13 – First Corinthians 13:4-7

Day 14 – First Corinthians 13:13

Day 15 – Second Corinthians 9:7

Day 16 – Galatians 5:13-14

Day 17 – Galatians 5:22-23

Day 18 – Ephesians 5:2

Day 19 – First Timothy 6:10

Day 20 – Hebrews 13:1

Day 21 – First John 2:15

Day 22 – First John 3:18

Day 23 – First John 4:7-8

Day 24 – First John 4:10

Day 25 – First John 4:11

Day 26 – First John 4:12

Day 27 – First John 4:18-19

Day 28 – First John 4:21

Notice the focus for February is love. As you study these Bible verses and create a Bible Notebook, I pray that you will work on your writing skills (complete thoughts with full sentences that make paragraphs) and that you will work on your critical thinking skills (how are you affected by what you have read). Bible Notebooking is a great way for you to record observations and thoughts about what you have learned from the Bible reading that day.

Happy Homeschooling!
