Are you looking for a tool to help you or your student memorize Bible verses? Then, I highly recommend the Bible Memory App – Bible Memory Pro from BibleMemory.com. You can download the Bible Memory App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

After you create an account, simply enter the Book, Bible Version, and Verses into the Verse Importer.

Then, import the verse text, and save.

Now you are ready to work through each of the three phases. Phase one shows the complete Bible verse with its reference. Simply tap the first letter of each word and each word will be highlighted.

Now that your familiar with the verse, try to memorize it. Phase two omits words from the Bible verse with its reference. Simply tap the first letter of each word and you will see each word highlighted, including those missing words.

Now it’s time to master the memory verse. Phase three does not display any words, nor the reference. You must remember the Bible verse and tap the first letter of each word and each word will be highlighted.

After each attempt, the Bible Memory App will give you a percentage and show you how well you did. If you’re still struggling, try again, until you have mastered the memory verse. If you need a break, you can always stop and come back, as the Verse Collection lists all imported Bible verses.

Many times, we can quote a Bible verse and not recall its reference. This App helps you to learn not only the verse, but also the reference. I have talked about this App on many occasions with family and friends, who have now purchased the PRO version for themselves; but I have also shared this App with my Sunday School class because the free version has helped my K-5 students memorize their weekly Bible verses. The PRO version is available in ESV, NIV, NASB, and CBS. The free version is KJV (which is what we use at church and in our home).
