Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held the Saturday after Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. I personally have two small businesses. When you buy from a small business, you're supporting a family. You're helping a little girl get dance lessons, you're helping a teenager play soccer, and your helping parents like me to pay for medical bills and the cost of sending a student to college.
