Thank You, Lord
How often do we sincerely thank our Lord for all that He has done? Our lack of praise and thanksgiving for His gift of salvation can be likened to the response of the ten lepers after being healed by Christ (Luke 17:11-19). Only one returned to give thanks. The other nine were centered more on what happened to them personally than on the One who healed their lives. Are we guilty of this same carelessness?
The words of the hymn THANK YOU, LORD were written by Seth Sykes in 1940 to help believers offer praise for the gift of salvation. Carry this musical tune with you and praise Him for His gift of salvation -
Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul,
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole;
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me,
Thy great salvation so rich and free.
